Police Searching For Suspect In Armed Robbery At CVS In Fairfield County

Police in Fairfield County are requesting assistance identifying an armed robber who held up a CVS pharmacy at gunpoint and made off with Oxycodone.

The robbery took place around 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at the CVS at 3710 Main St., in Bridgeport.

The robber, a tall heavy set male, wearing a dark-colored jacket with a hood, entered the store and made his way to the pharmacy, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.

The suspect then displayed a firearm and demanded drugs from the pharmacist; taking a significant amount of prescription Oxycodone, Gilleran said.

The suspect was also wearing a dark-colored face mask and gauze/bandages on his left hand. 

He left the CVS and fled through the parking lot towards Renzy Avenue, police said.
